Well, I don't know exactly why I'm doing this. Maybe it's because I've devoted half my life to the volunteers. I know most of you don't watch ESPN anymore ( I don't blame you), but @ about three this afternoon they gave an in depth update on all the coaching changes and it was revealing.

Gundy has told OK ST he is staying. He is off the list.

Strong is more than likely staying at Louisville. They gave him anything he wanted and an ass load of cash (possibly the highest paid ever). He is probably off the list (we will know for sure tomorrow).

Butch Jones wants Colorado. He is off the list more than likely.

Butch Davis is a rumored candidate for Florida International.

The only one that is left is Fedora. Who, for some reason hasn't been talked about much by anyone. He seems like a great candidate for Tennessee.

When asked who was left for Tennessee the talking head basically said "good question, I don't know".

There is one guy; he is a VFL, a ethical and strong personality, does things the right way, is a good recruiter, and knows how to score in the league. his name is Derrick Dooooo .... oh wait, ya'll ran him out of town too.

Nobody wants to deal with a fan base that is going to run them out of town before they can get the job done.

Ur a joke. Take a hike. If fans really had this much input we would have gruden as head coach and peyton manning back at qb. Makes as much sense as whAt you just said

...and apparently Fedora is now being reported as staying put in other threads on this board. That means every one of the possible candidates being talked about is off the list.

...and what happens when momma's won't let their children come to Tennessee anymore, he impregnates the cheerleaders, takes the money and runs out of here, and leaves behind a bunch of recruits from the state pen?

lest we forget ... Fisher. He isn't going anywhere, just using T for leverage. So start looking at another coordinator. Maybe let Chaney have a go, makes sense. He won't brake the bank and the kids like him.

Just don't kiss me on the lips and I'll love you back. As much as I told myself to stay away, and that I don't care anymore, I can't seem to just walk away. I have come to some sort of inner peace about all this. I just heard that Florida international's coach is available. :)
