There is a usually a post put up about this time every year about updated weights of players at the closing of summer workouts. Am I too early for this info? Anyone have any updates? Thank you in advance for the clarification.

Uncle died of that a few months ago. Thanks for reminding me! The offseason blues have driven me to eating more. And drinking.

I thought there was a cure now?

In all honesty, when I was in basic training in 2008 there was an article about a gay guy being cured of aids.

Apparently it was from a bone marrow transplant. But viral medicine is an area we've never been very good at.

Yeah I dont believe there is a cure yet. The hospital said they'd never had an aids patient live as long as my uncle. There's something about that funeral that will never leave me. One of my uncles old friends with the most beautiful voice sang Go Rest High on That Mountain. Man... talk about chills. Not one person left without a tear in their eye.

Almost every player has gotten stronger over the summer and this means most of the big guys have certainly gained weight. Here is what Butch said this week.

On team’s strength and conditioning: “If we were sitting right at this table doing this show a year ago, we had zero players — and we were a veteran group — who could squat over 600 pounds. After last night we are up to 11. We were nine. Now we’re 11. We’re making great strides in our football program. They’ve had a great offseason.”

I'd say that's pretty telling.

Any weight added is likely to be strength added and not just bulk.

I would like to see the weights too.
