Ohio State is playing something called a Florida A&M this week. It's 27-0 in the first quarter. Ohio State has passed twenty times and ran the ball thrice. Also, they went for two after a touchdown already. It's the first quarter.

34-0 now. Will Urban hang 100?

They know that if Bama and Oregon win out, OSU is left out again, so they are trying their damnedest to get some style points. Hell, even Clemson would be in over the Buckeyes, and that makes me smile.

Agree with the first part

...but Clemson or OSU might not be more than a push with the two team's schedules

Not so sure Louisvilles schedule is as weak as OSUs - and this is every damn year

Clemson's GA win will trump any OSU win, IMO.

At the same time, though, Clemson only plays two other ranked teams: Florida State (who could be who knows where in the rankings by the time the two teams play) and USCe (same story), before maybe getting a ranked team in the ACC Championship.

They might not have much chance/opportunity for another game to jump OSU (since even after the UGA game, they're still ranked behind them) unless FSU or USCe stay highly ranked that late in the season...

OSU plays a probably will be ranked Wisconsin next week (they're just outside the rankings this week), a currently #18 Northwestern after that, and a currently ranked #15 Michigan before what would likely be another game against a ranked Northwestern or a lower-but-still-ranked Michigan in the conference championship. (and the first Michigan game's the same day as the USCe game)

Both schedules pretty much pale in comparison to what Oregon's does for them if they keep winning, though, especially if they continue in the manner they already have

Style points vs a cupcake like FAM ?

Hate having to look like I'm somehow defending the Buckeyes or something, but OSU's schedule isn't as weak as Louisville's...not even close.

It all changes next season for Louisville, but OSU will still have this type of garbage team all over their schedule.

Honestly, an ACC schedule isn't really much better than a Big 10 schedule.

For example, Clemson - at this point - is only playing 1 to at most 2 ranked in-conference teams if they make it through to the ACC championship (it jumps to 3-4 only because they're playing UGA and USCe out of conference). FSU also only plays 2 in-conference, maybe 3 if they make the ACC championship against a ranked team. (There's only 3 ranked teams in the ACC right now)

OSU is going to be playing 4 ranked teams based on in-conference alone if they make the Big 10 championship. (there are 4-5 ranked teams in conference, with 1-2 on the fringe of being ranked again if they win this week)

The real tragedy of this was that the FAMU band didn't travel for this game.

A halftime of OSU's band vs FAMU's band would have been epic (as far as college bands go).

Still looking at that Michigan game last week and the Nebraska loss at home -- crazy season in the B10

True but at the same time Nebraska isn't one of those ranked teams anymore...meanwhile, as far as Michigan, just have to see how the rest of their games go. Today could be a very good indication of whether last week was just a fluke/play style thing or if it's going to be something recurring for that team.
