How do you think the SEC will stack up against Florida and Urban Myers new spread offense?

Did this guy suddenly wake up one morning and invent a new offense that has never been seen before? I think most of the DC's in the league have adapted their schemes to counter this style of play by now.

Did Meyer not admit to intentionally limiting the Gator defense to make his offense look better in their spring game? If he has to do that with his own defense, it can't be pretty once that circus act hits the field for real in the SEC. I second an earlier comment, Leak will be hurt bad if Meyer does not realize where he is now playing football.

Urban Meyers offense will work. He will score high points against weak teams and maybe have a high scoring game against most of his elite rivals.

BUT

Meyer will also deal with more injuries with his ridiculous wide-open offense...Leak will get killed if the option is installed.

The wide-open offense will not be nearly as effective with the increased speed of defenses in the south

I think his offense will work and the gators will once again be a power house in the east, behind the Vols. The gators will look more like the gators of old, Spurriers gators. It should be fun whooping the gators once again, three straight years would be great. :cross:

The two big differences in Mumme at UK and Meyer at UF is that UF has a ton more athletes available to execute the game plan more effectively and Urban is smart enough to punt the damn ball when it's 4th and 9 on his own 35....... I think.
