Please use only the tweet id when embedding tweets.

I've fixed the issue that some are having with the embeds not showing.

Thanks.

if you have posted tweets like this: [replace twotter with twitter]

[twotter]https://twitter.com/WBIRSports/status/960950416891662336[/twotter]

they will no longer show.

They need to be posted like this:

Code:
[twotter]960950416891662336[/twotter]

So the change is we have to add in the [c ode][/c ode] part now?

The change is just use 960950416891662336 instead of the full url.

I'm going to go back and change as many as I can. If you see something that needs to be fixed, report it and I'll go in and edit.

This was the way it was supposed to work all along, but the full links worked for most people so I didn't change it.

For those of you who can, go back and edit your recent tweet posts, that would help me out.

Thanks.

I'm trying to think of an easier way regarding old tweets.

We could start using a new tag like [tweet] for the new format and leave the old ones unchanged.

Any other suggestions?

Your problem is you are spelling twitter wrong. :)

My test, and, yes, I echo NashVol's sentiment. Thanks very much, as always.

I think this idea is good.

For those using Tapatalk, is it not just better to paste the twitter url directly anyway since it auto codes and pulls the twitter post automatically? Or does that fail for browser users? I noticed with the old format, the [twotter][/twotter] code did not pull the content into Tapatalk.

What device are you using?

PC, Firefox 58.0.1, NoScript (google and gstatic blocked), Windows 7 Ultimate.

I don't even see the Twitter link, but I know it's there, because it shows up in the editor if I hit "Quote".

I never did have the Tweets show up embedded, but the links were visible.
