Janet Napolitano offers to help put stop to illegal border crossings — in Saudi Arabia

The United States government, which has difficulty controlling its own borders, has agreed to help Saudi Arabia secure its dangerous border areas near Yemen.

"So many of our discussions were about how to protect a very tough, geological, topographical border from illegal crossings," Ms. Napolitano said during a visit to the Saudi kingdom on May 31.

just curious why the same efforts aren't being done here. Actually I'm really not anymore. We should just raise a white flag every mile along the southern border and be done with it

you are ignoring the fact that securing our border is racist and this is clearly not.

By all rights, the woman should resign.

This isn't at all surprising, every last high ranking member of this administration makes some looney toons statement every time they open their yaps.

Since the Saudi government has been implicated in supporting radical jihadists from Arabia going into Iraq to kill Americans, if Naptimeianno isn't interested it attempting to stop the free flow of all sorts into America and wants to do something about the Saudi border, maybe she should secure that border between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

The American serviceman and the American people are merely an afterthought with the current regime of clowns.

This is just unbelievable. Our current administration wants to secure other countries' borders. Meanwhile, they're basically moving toward annexing Mexico.
I say we go all in and take over Mexico and Canada. At least then we could take advantage of their natural resources and tax base.

Let's just be the imperialists they accuse us of being.

Could that action be to protect the interests of the Saudi Royal family??

Picked up this from a seemingly informed discussion:

"Bin Laden has publicly commented that the Hadhramaut (Yemen) is one area where he might want to seek sanctuary.

Hadhramautis are believed to have been behind the attack on the USS Cole in Aden harbor in Oct. 2000. At the time, Yemeni Prime Minister Abdul-Karim al-Iryani reported that one of the men who steered the small boat of plastic explosives into the ship was born in the Hadramaut. The second man was also believed to be from Hadhramaut.

The FBI's investigation of the Hadhramautis was shut down by the CIA Station in Sanaa when the investigation began linking the Hadhramautis and Bin Laden to members of the Saudi royal elite. The Saudis are major backers of the tribes of the Hadhramaut who have been waging an intermittent civil war with the Yemeni central government in Sanaa.

The primary FBI agent in that investigation, John P. O'Neill, was called back to New York after pressure was exerted on US ambassador to Yemen Barbara Bodine to spike O'Neill's potentially embarrassing investigation. O'Neill was among those killed at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11."
