"On Thursday, Southern California Senior Vice President for Administration Todd Dickey and Athletic Director Mike Garrett spoke on video posted on the school's athletic web site about the allegations of NCAA violations regarding former football player Reggie Bush and former basketball player O.J. Mayo". transcript of their statements:
True. I wondered about the timing. Floyd resigns over Mayo. There are grumblings about the NCAA investigation of Bama while USC seems to have skated any significant investigation on Bush. (I understand that being a private institution makes it harder to investigate them as opposed to Bama who was covered by the freedom of information act). Then, after months of saying nothing, they come out with these statements on the same day the Bama penalties are announced. Are they starting to feel any pressure?
