Matt Barkley hurt his hand on a play and Kiffin kicked they player out of the scrimmage that hurt Barkley. Wow Kiffin is as big an idiot as Meyer when it comes to his golden child getting hurt. Also Mitch Mustain threw for 300 yards and 5 TDs.

Shouldn't this be in the "Around the NCAA" forum since it has nothing to do with UT?

Probably b/c Barkley had surgery on the same hand/wrist after last season genius. The DL shouldn't have been near the QB in a scrimmage like that... at least not close enough that his hand would hit his helmet on the follow through.

Please; No more USC or Kiffin posts. We are past that. Let's talk about our new coaching staff and only mention USC when referring to who we will be playing for the national title in 3 to 5 years. Go Vols!:rock:

I would bet Kiffin told the DL to be aggressive in the trenches, but not overly pursue Barkley in particular since he just came off surgery not long ago. Could be wrong, but I would bet that type of injury is what Kiffin wanted to prevent.

I saw on SI.com an article "Ten things we learned this spring" Anyway Kiffin once again took the jersey away from the guy wearing #1. Except this time he took it from the offensive and defensive player if I'm not mistaking. What is this guy's deal with the #1? I just figured it was Brandon Warren being his moody self and showing out and so I thought it was a good thing Kiffin did to Warren because I thought he was trying to get his attention but apparently he just has this thing for that #. Apparently if you dont look and act like Mike Williams he takes your # from you? Why does he think because you like #1 you "have" to be the best player on the team? So if by fate Warren would have chose like 80 or something like that he would have been just fine. haha Weird...

To all the people whining about the thread, why isn't there similar hostility at the fulmer threads?

He doesn't coach at ut anymore, so news on him really doesn't have any relevance either.
