Just I thought, but I wonder if the UT/Bama rilvary will lose any of its zing if Bammer brings in a coach not previously associated with their program?

I guess it didn't lose anything when Bill Curry was down there. What do you guys think?

I still hate Bama. I'd hate Bama with Cutcliffe on the sidelines, I'd hate Bama with Peyton Manning on the sidelines. I'd hate bama w/ Phil on the sidelines. i guess this isn't a good argument, cuz i'm not a big supporter of any of these people huh? regardless, i hate bama.

From what I here RR likes to run a Urban Meyer like o. Lots of misdirection plays.
When the ball is kicked off for the Bamma UT game the adrenaline will be just as high no matter the coaches, for fans and players.

The dynamic with Curry was that he beat Tennessee while he was at Georgia Tech. He continued his winning ways versus Tennessee while at Alabama. Only after he coached at Kentucky, did he finally struggle against Tennessee.

Did anybody suddenly take a liking to Florida when they hired Urban Meyer? I don't think it will affect the rivalry one iota.

Ding Ding Ding. They are still Alabama no matter who is coaching them. I despise them even if the Pope was their coach.

Yep thats what makes it all fun! :)

Besides you cant beat a twisted stomach for a few weeks, family fueds, and neighbor state rivalry!

I wished we played Ga tech every now and then. I'd think it would be great for recruiting considering how much talent is in the metro-atlanta area...and how most of that talent goes to uga (and this year a big chunk to ga tech).

I can't believe you guys are making a big deal of them trying to go outside the Bama circle; remember Fran, and Mike Price.

It doen't matter who the coach is because the Bear is always present. (At least in the twisted minds of the Bammers)
