At the midway point of high school football seasons, 247Sports released its latest update for the Class of 2018 on Wednesday, and a bunch of Tennessee Volunteers targets, as well as both their commits, rocketed up the rankings.

In all, nine players from the Volunteer State were represented in the Top247.

A couple of highly-coveted targets in the next cycle made huge leaps, as quarterback target Justin Fields jumped into the rankings at No. 100 overall — a 283-spot move. In-state targets Master Teague, a tailback from Blackmon High, and Brendan Harris, a 4-star safety out of Baylor School, both saw huge climbs, too.
