I'm showing my age and nick-picking......but it amazes me how many recruits get the school name wrong.

University of Austin Peay State.

I remember a recruit did a public commitment one time. It was so funny because he committed to the University of LSU.

Hope his text is not an example of his education level,, just typing mistakes. If it is education of mental, then he will have a hard time "playing fast" with any success. I don't care what his size and speed would be.

If his measurable are legit I would think he would be more of a 260 to 270 lb DE like Sam Hubbard.

I don't really get edge rankings, because I associate that more with pass rush specialist.

It really depends on defensive scheme. A kid can definitely be a pass rush specialist at 6'6" 260-270. Aidan Hutchinson at Michigan was 6'7" 260.

I think Asian Hutchinson is a standard defensive end. He defends the run well, he also is a great pass rusher. He's a 3 down DE. When I think of Edge, I think of someone who comes in on passing downs.

Fair, but the best pass rushers in the NFL are 3 down guys. I think of an EDGE as more of a specific body type and ability suited for rushing the passer. A defensive end/OLB hybrid.

5. DEVOUX TUATAGA
Devoux Tuataga is elite. He has always been elite and anyone who watched him play knew that he was going to be elite. But it's like there was some kind of firewall that was preventing college coaches from getting their eyes on Tuataga. It wasn't two weeks ago that Tuataga had zero scholarship offers and very little recruiting attention at all. Now, in less than two weeks, he reports offers from Utah, USC, BYU, Arizona, Cal, Washington, Washington State and Tennessee. He has risen from a little known player at a newer high school, to a national recruit in less than 10 days.
When you watch him play, it becomes obvious. He's 6-6 and a strong 225 pounds today. His frame will get bigger with time. He has a strong lower half that allows him to bull over blockers, but he has a strong upper half that gives him a variety of pass rushing moves. He is nearly unblockable at the high school level.
The offers are coming early and often now. BYU hosted him on an unofficial visit last week and will continue to push for his services. He is and special football player and is finally getting the recognition he deserves.
