Just thought I would throw it out there a bit. UT is in with a lot of the top talent (especially defensive) in the upcoming year. Hopefully the new staff can recruit well and win some games with a fun offense and bring in these top guys.

Dawson, you're from Franklin right? Any feeling on Todd Campbell seeing the field this year?

It really depends on the offense that we run. He has big hands and can really catch the ball. He runs good routes but isnt fast. Im not sure what his vertical is, but I watched several game sof his and he really elevated for a few balls.
He reminds me of a Keyshaun Johnson type of player (without the height).
He can get open, run good routes present a big target to a QB and catch. He wont break a long one, with his speed or breaking a tackle however.

maybe he can be our guy that goes across the middle? we need a big physical wr that can bring the ball down in traffic and absorb the hit. I actually look for that role to be filled by Hancock this year.

Hancock is a twig. I doubt he goes over the middle. Gerald Jones is most likely the guy who will be doing that...or Austin Rogers if he can catch.

you think 6-3 200 is a twig?

He looks a lot skinnier on TV. I had no idea he was that big. He must have gained some weight since the last time rivals updated though. It says he is 6'2 185, but utsports says he is 6'3 200. Either way, he looked like a twig last year.

I was living in Jacksonville when he was a senior in St Augie. He was a very, very tough 185.

I'm not saying he can't do it, I just think Austin Rogers will or Gerald Jones will be the guy who is going over the middle.
