UT may offer QB Drew Little

If his stats are that good and he is a monster why is he rated so low?

Good question. This makes two 2 star QB's from georgia we are looking at (Michael Trambruno (sp) is the other. I don't know what to think of it.

But he is a big ol' boy. Very nice stats at a very good highschool. If I am not mistaking, Henry Co (GA) produces D-I talent consistently. The wide receiver at the school is the Patterson kid who committed to Stanford.

If we don't get Boyd, we may have to take a shot with this dude. Maybe he is the next Lorenzen.

What does this mean for Tajh Boyd? Why go after another QB? We have Stephens, Crompton, Coleman, and Bryce Petty already committed.

:stop: You did not just call Stephens and Crompton QBs! They need to get ready to play special teams in '09!

We get Boyd, he will need a REAL back-up.

Tee Martin on the 6-5, 230-pound Little:

Westlake's Lewis Kindle and Henry County's Drew Little are two of the state's most overlooked senior prospects, according to one of the nation's top quarterback evaluators.
"If he works hard, I can see him turning the heads of some big schools. If he really puts forth the effort, Drew can go as high as he wants to go. We'll just have to see how it unfolds."

Visited UT for bama game and visiting Clemson in the future. Kentucky, FSU and dozens of others are also recruiting him.

Anyway, enough about this kid. Didn't mean to find so much info on him, but he is obviously getting alot of attention. Sounds like a sleeper to me.

RS Freshman or not, if he can't beat out what we have seen on the field, it's not looking good for him.

IMO, I dont believe he has been given the opportunity to beat out what we have on the field. It would be scrunity for Fulmer to start a RS Freshman over a sophmore and junior. :p

guess better be careful to keep threads on topic, freak means business lately.

but after watching his video, he has a pretty good arm. Also seems to have some really good receivers.

Based on what? History shows CPF will play a freshman qb if the older guy isn't getting it done.

tons of kids put up good stats in HS. Doesn't mean they are 4 or 5 star talents.

A lot of those 4* kids don't pan out. Many of the top QB's in college football now were 2 and 3* kids out of high school.

Not saying that doesn't happen. Just saying big stats alone don't warrant 4 and 5 star rankings.

He doesn't get in a hurry does he? He walks on and off the field and seems to play kind of lazy. His receivers appear to be really good. Now after watching this, go watch Tajh Boyd's video. I say thanks but no thanks to Little as well.

Thanks but no thanks. Most of his passes are 10 yds or less, akward delivery, and slow. If he does come to UT, I forsee the only action he is going to receive is the bench.
