OK I was thinking, we have 2 games to get ready for our big run through the SEC and more importantly Georgia. What do you think we will do with our Offense. Do you think we will run more for the Marshall and Memphis game to try to get some what of a running game. I know that there defense will not compare to GA's but maybe we can have some confidence going in to there game. My thought is we might try to get up on them a little bit then work on it. Maybe try to have a balance between pass/run in the first half and hopefully try to get it so in the second half we can work on our running game. What are your thoughts?

i think we'll see a concerted effort to get better in the running game, and these two weeks will be very important to the offensivle line coming together....now does that translate in to running effectively against a pretty stout UGA defense? i don't think so, but i can't help but think we won't be held to -11 yards rushing again for the remainder of the season.

Having said all of that, our passing game is effective and fairly efficient, and it could be used to set up the run....

but i would expect to see us workin the running game for sure.

We will be pounding the rock the next two games. Our passing game looks great right now. If we can get our running game fixed so we can keep the defense honest it will also help the passing game.

I agree. Also if we get our Offense to start controlling the the game, it will give our defense a break which will also help them so they will not get tired.

In addition to the O line getting squared away, it will help having a healthy back with some experience (i.e. Foster). We need to rest the heck out of him until the UGA game.

We need to get Coker, McNeil, Kemp, Gaines, Richard, McClendon, Foster etc.. some needed game time experience against some teams that should allow UT to do so. If they go in and let this game and the next one remain close and can't do the above, they will e in a lot of trouble.

I have to say that I hope we focus on a couple of things.

1. O line for run and pass.
2. D line pressure and fill gaps.
3. Running game.
4. tackling.
5. Kick coverage.

That's about everything except the pregame stretches.:hmm:

I meant in that order. We could use improvement in all of those. Some areas we did better than others. But the top 2 are the most crucial for us.
and hey, if they don't stretch good then you can put that on the list as well.
