This is why it would probably behoove people to STFU about getting rid of Butch right now even if they DID believe he wasn't the long term answer. As long as we're recruiting like this it's literally worth a few losses to stock the roster before bringing in a new guy. Not only could the success be very quick but let's face it, how much easier would it be to lure in a top head coach with talented roster already in place?
For myself I'm not at all certain CBJ can't get it done on the coaching side too since I don't have the attention span of a 5yo with ADD and understand what Jones took over. I DO know he's killing it in recruiting.
Who in the hell is talking about getting rid of CBJ? If anyone says that in your presence, please karate chop them in the throat.
I don't get it either but peruse a few threads...there's already some people that are putting up some very interesting coaching observations. I'm just trying to put up a "Even if you DO want to whine about the coaching as long as we're recruiting at THIS level it's practically worth losing a few for the long term benefit."
Again, I'm far from convinced CBJ can't get the recruiting AND the coaching done. I have genuine, as in legit competition for SEC title, goals for 2016. If we get this level of talent in here then it's totally fair to expect wins commensurate to talent and experience. If that's not there then we're looking at the coaching.
Oh, and :good!: on the throat chop.
