well, i dont know what u watched, but in tha game i watched tha bigger, quicker, more talented team was getting handled in the 2nd half until we slowed it down. childress and howell are in over their heads, true, but we arent needing them to matchup well, just to rest our starters. dont talk like arky is tha best team in tha world either, they got beat by ole miss. we should have won, but didnt. everyone had their hand in the loss today.

Warrior, did you listen to Pearl on post-game? Are you saying he's wrong? - or that he's making excuses?

I watched the game from the fifth row across from the Tennessee bench. It was like watching a boxer pound away at his opponents body. Arkansas hammered away at us on the boards til we broke. Arkansas has more depth of talent than anyone in the SEC. The fact Stan Heath doesn't have them neck and neck with LSU for the SEC title proves he is over his head. He went to the Elite Eight with Gary Waters' players at Kent and parlayed that one year wonder into a job in the SEC.

well, that may be true, but did u not notice that they didnt start chipping away until we started holding onto the ball until the shot clock went off? on two straight possessions, we settled for patterson shooting a 3 and then and airball that was rebounded by arky at the buzzer. if we keep the pressure on, we win. we needed 2-3 more minutes of good hard pressure and running until we decided to hold it.

That's an interesting way to look at it... I pretty much agree. The analogy about getting beaten up by a boxer... I feel that's literally what's been happening to us all season long in the post. I want to blame officiating, but it couldn't be consistently taht bad... we need a guy that can dish out the same punishment he is taking under the basket.
