The ********* week I have drill. This sucks, but to all the vets that are going, enjoy for me.

A couple of things:

Why not allow some of those guys to run through the T? Also, I wish we would honor some former Vols who also served this country?

A side note... A great marketing tool.. One fan or set of fans should lead the team out each week.. So this week Military and so on.. Get asked to go down on the jumbo-tron prior to the band starting. Planned event

I'm an Air Force man myself. Worked in missile defense, SAC (F.E. Warren) way back when. Still work for the DOD today. Big thanks to all of our vets for all you have given and continue to give. :hi:

I have drill this weekend. I will drive all the way down to Knoxville and not be able to watch game. Scheduling drill during Home game Saturday must stop!!! :(

Proud graduate of the UT ROTC Volunteer Battalion, and 9 year Army vet....wish I could be there this weekend to enjoy the festivities. #GBO #VFL

This is cool. God bless all the men and women who have sacrificed, and those who gave their all. I lost a cousin in the middle east, he would've loved this.

Dang Raven, you learned the double dip too eh? I put in 21 yrs Air Force and have 13 now in Civil Service. Left Greenback 41yrs ago next month. Man.. it's been a long time. Thanks to all who are serving now, wherever you may be. :salute:

We did a Military Appreciation Night at Sweetwater High School a few weeks ago. It was very well received. We had military recruiters at the game which seemed to really excite a lot of our students. It was the first time we had done a night like this and I'm looking forward to seeing what UT will do so we can make it even better next year for our veterans.

Everyone saying that have drill this weekend may ought to check with your unit. Far as I know no one in the TNARNG has drill this weekend, hell no one in the country has drill this weekend.
