The Vols looked alot better in that game than against Fordham, their first trip away from TBA. Maybe the large (lol-3,351), 99% orange crowd inspired them against UNCW, as they forced 31 turnovers. I was pleased with Josh Tabb's man-to-man defense. He forced two 5-second calls on the opposing guards in the second half when the game was still fairly close.
Offensively, JuJuan just needs to be more consistent and he can be a pretty good scoring option for us this year.
Overall, I like the improvement that Ryan Childress is showing. It looks like we may not have to dread the minutes that he plays in SEC competition this year - or at least not as bad.
