After careful thought, I think USC should be called UT West for way more reasons than the other way around. I mean, come on, they have like ALL of our coaches last year. From that, I expect a stellar 7-6 season for UT West.

In case you don't know, USC will be legit this year, you can book that.

Say what you will but USC will be good. Kiffin and Kentucky coach Calipari can recruit.

Did I just miss Fulmer coaching the Trojans and dragging them through a few lame recruiting classes before the Kiffin clan took over? Kiffin didn't inherit the same walk-on riddled roster at USC that he did here at UT and still went 7-6. I hate the guy as much as anyone but this kind of association just kind of comes across as jealousy.

Until Barkley shows me something, I will wait and see. From what I saw last year, Monte had trouble with the spread offenses (see Ole Miss). Now in the Pac10 with those wide open offenses and a defense that couldn't stop my grandmother last year, and that could be an issue. There is talent there, but they will never be back to the Carroll era under Kiffin in my opinion.

With the roster he inherited and the recruiting class he landed it will be damn near impossible not to win 9 games....

They'll win the Pac-10 with Masoli out at Oregon.

11-1 for SC this year. But with Scroggins, Baxter, Prater, Woods, Ambles, Henderson, etc. coming in they will get back to the SC of the mid-2000s.

Call me crazy if you want...but I've got a feeling that one's not going to stick

Unfortunately, I disagree with all three points you were going for. Barkley is a stud. I don't really know what you did or didn't see last year. Monte is the man. The injuries sustained and the fact that 90% of our team didn't even show up in Oxford wasn't his fault.

I agree more along these lines.
