I follow Stanford and they've been a real disappointment this seasonYea, the PAC-12 South needs someone to step up. USC is probably the closest to stepping up. The PAC-12 North is getting tougher. Washington is tough, WSU is a traditional headache with Leach, Cal is getting better with Wilcox as HC and surprisingly OSU is actually making improvements under local hero Johnathan Smith.
Agree, Stanford seems to be one of those teams that can put together a real tough team every few years, just not year in and year out. Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see Wilcox and/or Leach hired away from the PAC-12. I think Wilcox has a great future as a Head Coach.I follow Stanford and they've been a real disappointment this season
Wilcox would be a strong hire for FSUAgree, Stanford seems to be one of those teams that can put together a real tough team every few years, just not year in and year out. You're probably right, I suspect Wilcox isn't a "big enough" name for the FSU faithful. Doubt they will hire him. Plus, to be blunt about it, Wilcox seems to run a really clean program and that might not be the best fit for FSU as it takes longer to build a program that way and FSU has the patience of a rattlesnake being threatenedWilcox would be a strong hire for FSU
