Utah @ Baylor

Really wondering what Florida is because Utah looks very average so far.

Clearly it's going to take a few weeks to really begin to see who the good teams are.

Before the weather delay Notre Dame was in a struggle with NC State 3-0. The first team they've played with a pulse.

I wouldn't thump our chests too much, our big win is getting beat by James Madison right now.

JMU was favored by the oddsmakers, and I don't know anyone claiming it was a big win. We just took care of business. Utah is losing to Baylor, who lost to Texas State last week.

Fair enough. The issue with the SEC is that its weak OOC scheduling may one day bite it. I think SEC rides a reputation right now but you got to think there are only so many chances for SEC to prove themselves.

LSU for example only had FSU so its only real strength barometer was that game and they didn't show. If Alabama and Ole Miss lose today, what does the SEC West look like? There isn't other Power 5 teams. If LSU had, let's say, Oregon State later on their schedule and won that game soundly, people would likely think higher of LSU. But because LSU plays trash teams the rest of the schedule, they only have that one benchmark.

You're right that the SEC is questionable at best right now. Virginia though is a P5 team. It's not our fault they are so bad that they aren't all that competitive with anyone since Mendenhall left. It should be a fun border rivalry that could've been taken advantage of more since 1990 or 1991 (whenever it was that we last played them).

If Utah is going to do anything this year, they need Cam Rising back BADLY.

They did get a FG. Cuts Baylor lead to 7. Now 13 to 6.
