Utah Senate Committee Unamimously Approves Bill To Decriminalize Polygamy

There are an estimated 30,000 people living in Utah’s polygamous communities, following early traditions from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The practice was officially forbidden by the church in 1890 after pressure from the federal government, according to The Associated Press.

According to the Associated Press? Really? They used the AP as a source for that when we were taught in elementary school it was a condition of statehood?

Another reason to eliminate fining statuses and number of exemptions for tax purposes.

Throuple's Rights might put an end to those tax breaks. TBH, I don't even know if the gay couples have won that fight yet. I assume they have since it's not an in-my-face issue like public toilet preferences and trans sports participation have been.
