So how significant of an upgrade is this guy for their program. I know that UTC is womens bball dominate their conference, and have made the NCAA tournament quite frequently, but they've never really made a lot of deep runs.

How big of a threat is this guy in relation to non conference play and potentially having to play them in the post season occasionally.

They normally make the tournament every year. Very very good women's bball program. There is a reason a lot of people have tried to hire Wes Moore away. NC State finally did.

They handed the lady vols a loss this year.

I already miss Blackburn. He deserved the job over Hart by a wide margin.

I think a lot of us wondered why they didn't just promote him to the position. Especially (for me) in regard to what he did for the university during the times when things really needed to be held together.

Having said that, I could not be more thrilled to have him at UTC. :dance2:

As well as three or four Elite Eight appearances, and a Final Four appearance in 1993. One of only a handful of coaches in any of their programs that ever backed up words with actions. Seeing him coaching UTC should be fascinating, unless we have to play them, then that could be either really great or really bad if the hang a double digit lead on us.:salute:
