Yes, we're currently looking for at least 1 more DE/OLB/EDGE type. Whether that's Jahvaree Ritzie, Naquan Brown, or someone else like this guy remains to be seen. We've got 7 DL guys leaving this year, I would expect us to sign 6 or so.

yep. and to be honest, it sounds like this kid may be the one reaching out to us vs. the other way around? not sure on that obviously...CJG is his lead recruiter, so you never know.

i will say, i think it's safe to say based on the last 10-14 days we really don't know what the actual board looks like...lol.

Yea, I think after some of these guys get on campus and go through testing it's going to be different.

Yes, we're currently looking for at least 1 more DE/OLB/EDGE type. Whether that's Jahvaree Ritzie, Naquan Brown, or someone else like this guy remains to be seen. We've got 7 DL guys leaving this year, I would expect us to sign 6 or so.

Not directed specifically at you, because I’ve seen this quite a bit here recently.

No chance we sign 6+ DL. Yes we will lose 7 guys, but here are the reasons we won’t:

- DL only makes up a max of 3 spots on our defense. Sometimes we only have two DL out there. 2-3 spots when you have to field 22. Can’t spend 6+ out of 25 there and expect to fill your needs elsewhere.

- We signed 3 or 4 (depending on where guys like Baron and Perry wind up) DL last cycle. We lost zero, everyone is returning.

IMO we only sign 3-4 true DL this cycle. Absolute max of 5. If you sign 4 this cycle added to the three from last cycle, you have a net gain of zero bodies from our 2019 roster. Which already had a lot of DL bodies.

Yea if you include Edge guys as DL, I could definitely see us getting to 6. We will take atleast 2 edge guys.
