Another player that has caught the staff’s attention is Virginia athlete Tony Rojas. The running back and linebacker could play either position in college. He plans on coming down on March 5th.

Virginia athlete Tony Rojas was expected to come down this weekend but he has pushed that back to early April because he wants to watch practice. We are told that he prefers to play linebacker over running back.

Also coming in next weekend is Tony Rojas. The Vols love him as a player and he could name his position, either linebacker or running back.

Interesting that they say next weekend - he's said he's coming April 5, right before going to Clemson 4/6 and then SoCar 4/7.

Getting him here is what matters, but ideally he'd be here for the Volapalooza with Nico et al, and also would be great to get him here after his return visit to Clemson.

Honestly in my opinion one of the biggest needs in this class. We’re gonna do fine getting offensive guys with how good our system is, and garner is gonna get those top tier dlineman. But we gotta close on some more quality linebackers. It’s too stressful watching opposing quarterbacks scrambling for 10+ yards while our lbs are trying to keep up. And as it stands, it’s not like we have a lot of options after banks is gone.

Depth is an issue at LB for sure, but Banks is very solid and Beasley is serviceable. I think the bowl game proved that corner is the weakest unit on the team, and I’m not sure it’s even close.

I'm referencing while here... did he have better statistics than Beasley or Banks? I also am totally assuming but it seems minus a few universities the BIG10 plays a more traditional offense.
