Norview running back Kaytron Allen is seeing college interest ramp up, and it’s no surprise. In 2018, Allen (2022 RB 5-10, 180) led the region in rushing with 1,421 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns in ten regular season games. He’s a high school freshman and putting up those kind of numbers.
On Thursday afternoon, the University of Tennessee offered Kaytron. Norview head coach Dealton Cotton had the meeting with the visiting Tennessee assistant, then shared the news with Allen. “I’m happy and blessed. Coach Cotton called me down to his office. (After delivering the news) he told me to stay focused, keep my grades up and keep being a humble person,” said Allen. ” I don’t know a lot about Tennessee, but I’ve seen them play on TV. I hope to learn more about Tennessee.”
