'24 WR Chanz Wiggins has impressive showing at National Preps Camp in Las Vegas
King George (Va.) sophomore wide out
Chanz Wiggins has the look of a player who will not only be a national recruit but among the top receivers prospects in the nation when he’s a senior.
We had a chance to get a good look at Wiggins this past weekend at the National Preps National Combine in Las Vegas. Wiggins made the road trip out to the West Coast and immediately caught our eye at player registration.
He has a long, athletic 6-3, 193 pound frame and his 81” wing span was one of the tops in the camp (2nd highest, top was 83'). Where he really jumped out was during the position drills. Wiggins looked great going through the gauntlet drills, showing strong hands and a really nice burst. He clocked a very solid 4.71-40 (Zybek laser system used) and his play speed was exceptional. He was a little up and down during the one on ones and had every top corner trying to match up with him but as he continues to improve as a route runner, his game will take off and his upside is extremely high.

- King George (Va.) ’24 wide out
Chanz Wiggins impressed us earlier in the year at the National Preps Showcase and had another good workout today. At 6-3, 185 pounds, he’s a long receiver who can run, catches the ball well and has very good body control. He’ll be among the most heavily recruiters in the East Coast sophomore class. He recently took visits to Clemson, UCLA and UNLV and will check out Florida State and Ohio State in April.

WR
Chanz Wiggins, 2024, King George (Va.) High: The big-framed Wiggins, who is 6-foot-3, 185 pounds, has big hands and used them to secure passes with ease. His hands were strong, he was fluid and precise in his route running and at times he made catches look comfortable. He turned a few defensive backs and even when he was being held, he remained composed and used his body to shield the defender and make the play.

247Sports had an opportunity to check out one of the top Class of 2024 prospects from the DMV during the "Win Your Ones" camp.
Chanz Wiggins, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound wide receiver out of Virginia, was one of more than a dozen prospects competing at the invite-only event.
Chanz Wiggins was consistent from start to finish. Whether it was during position drills, 3v3, or 1v1, Wiggins was one of the standouts of the event. The wide receivers were not given a whole lot of field to run routes on (by design), so they had to depend more on their route-running ability instead of just running fly routes. On more than one occasion, Wiggins showcased his ability to make the touch catches with defenders draped all over him. With his frame, it's no surprise that Wiggins is more of a strider. Judging from his highlights and his camp performance, he's a hard match-up for defensive backs. If you press him, you have to deal with his physicality coming off the line of scrimmage. If you play off of him, he's able to get up a defensive back's cushion within a couple of strides at 6-foot-3. It's worth noting that he also plays the safety position.

WR
Chanz Wiggins: The 2024 class Top247 prospect from King George (Va.) was among the highest rated participants and certainly backed up his lofty ranking. Wiggins was smooth in and out of his breaks, showed tremendous body control and a wide catch radius to come down with some difficult receptions.
