News Flash: One of the biggest components of interior defense is getting misses off the boards. The last three was created by their inabilty to rebound a miss.

Oh ok, that's weird to try and put it on their interior D then.

A: "that football Team has a good pass defense!"
B: "hahaha, the other team's RB ran for 220 yards! lol nice pass defense!"

ya news flash: "Good" interior D doesnt translate into "always rebounds every missed shot ever in every single game always"

You're the one acting like Vanderbilt is UCONN South. The fact that last three would not hurt Vanderbilt's precious "interior defense" statistics shows exactly how meaningless and without merit those numbers are.

No, I think what happened is I said they have a good interior D and that stupidly was translated as "they are the best interior D ever and OMG no one will ever stop them because they are giant wicked beasts of boards and paint", which is a pretty huge extrapolation.

They have a good interior D, they are not good much anywhere else.

Will being good in one area help you when you are so bad in several others? no, no it won't.

Looks like as soon as Lane came to take back Tennessee as a football program the basketball started slipping....

Or how about just this is a year where both the UT football team and basketball are bad...

there's no guarantee that Lane's going to make the program great or fantastic or anything till we actually see one of his team's take the field
