Prime Time and Irvin might have had big egos, however, they were proven winners by the time they signed with the Cowboys. Irvin at the U and Prime Time with the 49ers.

Also, having a defensive player with ego and frustration about not getting the ball, causes a defensive player to examine himself, not blame his teammates. I don't believe I ever heard Irvin moaning about Aikman during his career either.
