Remove of this doesn’t belong here. I’ll be in Nashville with my daughter for the season opener and I noticed that Vandy plays at 6. Thought we might go to their game while in town, so out of curiosity I checked on tickets. They start at $4…that’s right 4.00 USD. I’ve never had this type of sticker shock before. Anyone else going to check out the train wreck at 6?

They were a dollar for yesterday's game so don't over pay. Also, you'll lose brain cells going to that.

They're 1-0, baby, time to roll!

As for their opponent, Alabama A&M. Hmm. You take the inbred ignorance of Alabama, and marry it to the cow fetish of Texas A&M, and tada! You get Bama A&M.

Those sneaky 'Dores gonna be 2-0 going into their contest with Wake Forest, I think.

Go Vols!

Going from Nissan to Vandy's FirstBank stadium is like going from the "Penthouse to the Out House"...

Oh...and Nissan is probably the $hittieest NFL Stadium...

I live about 45 minutes from AAM, would actually be cool if they gave Vandy a game. Im sure they would be thrilled to have us there representing the big orange haha

Only NFL stadium I’ve been to is Nissan, and I agree it’s not very impressive. Never been to Vandy but it looks like most of the larger high school stadiums around here. Except high school games cost more to get into.

Don't git near that crazy giant scoreboard that was flapping in the wind yesterday
Home field advantage. Prolly why hawaii qb double clutched on his pick. He could have swore he saw the scoreboard/ cranes tipping over. Exact quote after the game btw.

I made that up. But if you believed it, then that's how bad Vanderbilts stadium is.

$4! And they are spending 100 Million on stadium upgrades? (Bet that came from the SEC Office, Upgrade or OUT) Well as we saw, vs Hawaii, Vandy Is still Vandy. They Still don't Have a Coach--- Beat a team by 53 LY, and almost lose to them at Home? VU needs to go after Timmy Chang......

How cool would it be at the end of the year to look back and say "I watched the SEC Champs and the last place team play in two separate games on the same day in the same city...then again 3 months later."

You should do.it for.sure.

Pretty sure that there is a stadium in Landover, Maryland which would take that crown.

Speaking of fecal matter-believe there was an incident a few years back of a refuse line breaking mid game and raining said refuse onto fans.

Haven't seen or heard of that at Nissan yet, but there's a first time for everything I suppose

I’m leaning towards it. At the very least it’ll be a good demonstration on how blessed we are to be UT fans. “See, this is how some people have to live.”

HAHAHA...TRUE !!!
Never thought about it like that, but could.be a "this is how to play football...and this is how to not play football" lesson.

I’m still sort of wondering how many people have to storm the field before they get fined. Raising money for Alabama A&M sounds like a good cause doesn’t it?

I would venture to guess that they may have had some donation buckets at the game to raise money to help the Maui residents.

The school was donating part of the game’s overall ticket revenue (the tickets sold, not just some amount relative to the number of people that actually showed up at the game):

“The Commodores athletic department promises to donate a portion of ticket revenue to the Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund to support victims of the Maui wildfires.”

“The Maui Strong Fund is providing financial resources that can be deployed quickly with a focus on rapid response and recovery for the devastating wildfires on Maui,” a school release said. “Funding will support evolving needs, including shelter, food, financial assistance, and other services as identified by the organization’s partners doing critical work on Maui.”
