Knoxville is more closer to coast than Nashville. Lionel Richie is more of a hit than Vandy! If you could rename Vandy what would it be?

Not when you pronounce it right... Commode door has a certain ring to it... Quite fitting, actually.

The man who founded Vanderbilt had the nickname "Commodore". He made his fortune in shipping.

And it's closer, not more closer.

The person who founded Vanderbilt had the nickname "Commodewhore", it was based on their experience with Vandy sorority girls. They made their fortune from Diddy's trust.

And that's closer to the truth, not more closer.

he also married one of his cousins - strange but true --- Following his wife Sophia's death in 1868, Vanderbilt went to Canada where, on August 21, 1869, in London, Ontario,[7] he married a cousin from Mobile, Alabama named Frank Armstrong Crawford (1839—1885).[8] Frank was 45 years younger than her husband.

And he was, in short, also a complete scum of a human being. Seriously.

I actually saw him "in concert" at a small bar in Copperhill, TN. He walked off stage when the drunk rednecks started fighting in crowd. True story
