Lets take a rest from Doodrama for a bit and talk about Candy. They have six wins but only five that count toward being bowl eligable. They have played two divison II schools and only one counts toward bowl eligablity
I took a quick look at the stats and their wins and I think we will win by 10 points.
UT 27. Candy 17.

Nothing from this season gaurantees UT a win.

Actually....can't you only count 1 FCS win towards the 6 win total once every 4 years? I'm pretty sure that used to be the case at least, and if so, then yes they are not bowl eligible yet because they used an Elon victory last year.

Nothing that we have done this year would lead me to make an unbiased prediction for a UT win. I believe that we should win based on potential. But somehow we find a way to lose. Saddest thing of all is that it will probably be competitive (we're talking about Vandy!)...for most of my life these last two weeks were just practice for a big bowl game. Oh, may those days come again...

They haven't played any Division II teams; they've played 1 FCS team, which isn't Division II. If you're thinking UMass is the other FCS team, they are in fact FBS this year. They're terrible, but they're FBS.

I think the key is to committ to the running game and be balanced through out the game. I predict 200 yds of rushing.

75% of our wins are against Akron, Georgia State, and Troy. I don't think we have room to disparage Vandy's victories.

I must have heard it wrong on the radio. Of course I am old and always called it Division II If i misled anyone sorry. Next time I will do some research. That being said I still say we win by 10 points.

Who cares? The only thing I'm interested in, at this point, is Hart officially firing Dooley and naming our "home run hire", new HC.

No excuse not to put up 45 on blandy. Dudes, its Vandy, not bama. Vandy does and always will suck at football, regardless of whether they "compete" with the good teams like we do. Tyler-no sacks , 300+passing, 150 rushing. Just don't ask UT to win the game on D at the end

i would pick tennessee to win.

however, i can only be sure that one team will play with maximum effort and be properly prepared.

tennessee has a new problem to match all of their other problems. how many guys will quit playing, either because they are worried about being injured (nfl) or they are no longer going to put in the effort for their coach

By OP's standards, we only have 3. GSU is still an FCS team, and a horrible one at that.

oh, even better.....and how does OP think we hold VANDY to 17pts? have you watched this team play at all? my only hope was Dooley being fired today and the team coming together in the aftermath to totally demolish vandy, but since he will still be on the sidelines it will be another last second field goal type game that we can only pray we come out on top of....

How in the world does vandy keep Memphis inner city kids in school(Kimrough and others)? They cheat. Should be in Ivy league or old c-usa or independent
