Vandy rivalry

I personally never thought of vandy as a rivalry because beating them has always been a given.
But now after this smug attitude has surfaced bc they beat us at our lowest point, I want to destroy them every year.
Rivalry on!!!

Given the history of this "rivalry", they'd have to win like 10-15 more before I consider them a true, marquee SEC rival. We can't be short-sighted...history is important.

At the rate we're going we'll be there in 10 years after they run off a streak on us.

We barely lost and have a great class coming in. Give it two years and we will be thumping Vandy on a regular basis again. They cannot recruit with us.

The only reason this is a "rivalry" now is because they are going through their best stretch of football in 100 years while we're going through our worst.

They've beaten UT 3 times in 30 years; what do those 3 UT teams have in common? None of them finished with a winning record.

It's not hard to figure out.

Every year? Hell, as it stands right now, I'll take ANY year. Franklin's a much better coach than Jones. We better damn well get some serious talent so we can overcome the scheme and player development advantage Vandy will have as long as Franklin is there and Butch is here.

Yep. You nailed it. As long as Franklin is at Vandy, he'll beat us more than we beat him.

I've always hated Vandy. I'll never take whipping them every year for granted again. I can only hope we will start beating them 50-0 on a regular basis sooner rather than later.
