I’m calling UConn fumbling first play of the game, Vandy scoops and think they have scored, only to fumble through the end zone for a UConn touchback.

As a Nashville native, I’ve always wanted Vandy to do well (just not against the Vols), but now I believe the ‘Dores just need to find a new conference. They are not just bad, they are the worst they have been in a LONG time, as far as I can remember (I’m 32).

Even the Vandy teams in the late ‘90s put up a fight against our Vols. The Widenhoffer, Johnson, and even Mason teams didn’t seem quite THIS bad. Vandy is even recruiting better now than they did back before Franklin, with worse to show for it.

With NIL, possible player unions, and potential “athletes-as-employees” looming, Vandy just needs to leave the SEC so we can add a school that will actually be able to compete and maintain conference standards for their stadium & facilities.
