so I don't bet on football very much...where is somewhere that I can get that I think Tennessee will win at least 6 games?

Well it could always be worse. I'm pretty sure Vandy and Kentucky are not even on the list.:)

Some offshore books will offer "exotic" wagers----but if you feel that strong, and you want to make it really worth your while, book a cheap flight. You have about a month.

Surprised to see SCar so low on the list considering the high expectations from the "analysts" this year.. That being said, they have been pretty big underachievers under Spurrier...

Yeah---all those Cocks fans predicting 9 wins should load up on that over 7 ????? :)

WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY too early to be making these predictions, even in Vegas. But hey, that's what Vegas is all about, I guess.

I think you can problably get the bet down in Tunica.

I doubt it. If so, it would be illegal. Bookmaking is legal only in Nevada----and perhaps Atlantic City--(not sure on that), but not allowed at any of the other 1,000 or so "Casinos" throughout the country---racetracks, ect. Makes no sense---gambling is gambling----ie--lottery is gambling--just as much as sticking money in a slot machine.

If someone is aware of football bets taken in Tunica---or Biloxi---I would love to know.

Most of the casinos here are really high on TCU and have been blowing the team up for months. Of course TCU being in the Mountain West has a little influence too.

The casinos have no sportsbooks, so no sports betting with the casinos.

Yeah well, they don't have sportsbooks because it is deemed illegal---probably out of deference to Vegas. Nothing much involved in having a sportsbook----just use the Vegas lines as do the offshore books. Legality is the issue, not lack. You should have quoted my entire post, but then that would have negated your retort.

My thing was IF someone was operating a small book on the sly-----I was interested.

If you need a local bookie, walk into any sports bar and ask the bar tender who is taking bets. He'll hook you up with as many as you need.

Where are you getting these from? My website doesn't have Tennessee listed for O/U bet.
