Just saw a FB post where VJ was back home in Saraland AL today. He played at Saraland HS. He went into the local grocery store and bought 12 $100 gift cards. He then went through the grocery store handing them out, and he stood at the front of the store for 30 minutes paying for everyone’s groceries! People were actually crying because of his act of kindness!
We hear bad sometimes, thought y’all would enjoy what good a VFL and Chicago Bear is doing in his own community!

He’ll be speaking THIS weekend in Memphis at a Men’s Conference with Mark Richt, David Pollack, and a couple of other folks. I know those are Georgia guys but still solid men.

Never know when a a small act of kindness can really save someone.

Banks and his issues aside, we seem to be doing well lately at recruiting exceptional young men to the program. Much rather read about stuff like this than late night accidents involving staffers.
