Ugh, after watching that Manning show tonight I'm all depressed. We're bad...really, really bad. Real talk...our true rivalry right now is Candy and Kentucky. You can quote W/L records all you want, but that's the way it truly is. I find myself agreeing with the gator fans on here more than the rest of y'all. I've made posts on here I'm both proud and ashamed of, but I really don't care...I just want us to be back the game. It reminds me of that drug addiction commercial where the people are yelling "HELP!" at the top of their lungs but you can't hear them. Go vols.

Yeah, it was cool to see the role that Archie played in the boys' lives growing up. Really was a good father figure to em. I watched it basically just to see some highlights of Peyton as a Vol. Literally just game me chills watching the clips and hearing John Ward's voice. That'd bout put a tear in a Tennessean's eye.

It's ok to agree with other fans just don't make post about it. They might start getting cocky! :)

I hate those stop lights were you have to sit there waiting when no one else is at the intersection.

Im just tired of losing n celebrating a win over vandy.. we r so bad on so many levels and a lot is talent but coaching n the off scheme isn't giving much hope other than recruiting ..

Also tired of defending tn to people from Texas bama lsu n Texas am. Am fans act like they r special n look down on tn. That makes me livid..

Last thing is that hart wanted to keep dools n seeing the talent we have n hart thinks we r sec ready team in any sports.. that dude is troll n has to be ran out of town.. no one can support a guy that dools thought was the guy.

Im done..lol

It just seems like so long ago that our football team was relevant. Sure we are on tv because of our tradition, stadium, and league, but have little impact on the national landscape. It is truly sad.

Was up in Verona, Wisconsin (small town near Madison) a few weeks ago and a guy was talking Badger football with me and asked me if I cheer for the LSU Tigers and I said no, the TN Vols for me. He said, "wow, you guys have been awful for several years now haven't you, when is UT ever going to turn it around?".

Most all Vol fans feel the same way, we're tired of losing, but we have no choice but back the coach and hope he can turn it around. Most fans never realized just how far the program had fallen, until 4 coaches turned down almost 4 million/year to try and rebuild this disaster.

All the excuses and if's and but's won't change the truth.

I had the now misfortune of enjoying the 90's. This raised my expectations and spoiled me. The thing about that is that I am now old and set in my ways. I will not settle for cheap wins over the likes of Vandy. Vandy will forever be a gimmie in my mind. I realize just how far we have fallen and I do have faith in Butch getting us back to where we all want to be. What worries me is the fargin Legions of the Miserable loudmouths that aren't willing to be patient. These people along with those that honestly believe that we are on par with the elite programs but just underachieving will be our downfall.
