Why does it seem like every time I want to watch a good football game I have to suffer through Verne Lundquist and his just as annoying little sidekick. CBS must have a complete lack of broadcasting talent if these are their two best guys. I couldn't believe they had these clowns covering the SEC championship and now they have the same morons doing the Army/Navy game. What is CBS seeing in these clowns.

What will they ever talk about next year? God i hate those guys.
Verne is truly pathetic, i think Danielson is a good broadcaster, he's just held back by the man love of Verne. It truly will be interesting who will be the "chosen one" next year to fill Tebows jock for them.

The sad part is that Danielson just acknowledged the fact that they talk about Tebow all the time.

Identifying the problem is the first step.

I'll bet verne will be underneath the table during the half time interview of tebow and the other heisman finalists.

i tuned into Army/Navy just in time to hear this dynamic duo make light of the very issue with Tebow... something to the effect of Danielson saying, "I know a lot of people are wondering if we are going to mention Tebow since we're covering a game that he's not playing in..."

You know what? I'm probably going to take some heat for this, but I actually like Lundquist and Dainelson when they're not verbally performing, well, you know.

I used to not mind them so much until the last few years with the Tebow lovefest. Danielson is still pretty good but Verne has said some really stupid things this year not pertaining to Tebow.

I used to like Verne when he had Todd Blackledge at his side. The Tebow lovefest coupled with his age and Gary Danielson is making it terrible, though.

I'd rather listen to Verne and Gary the rest of my life than have to listen to FOX's commentators for a few BCS games. So quick we are to discredit something good especially when something bad is just around the corner.

Good Lord, if I hear Verne refer to the "Pouncey Twins" again, I will throw up.

It is really just his age. He clearly no longer sees well nor thinks as quickly. He was once good. I will give him that.

I haven't heard Verne call a game in two years where he hasn't said something in reference to the game that was plainly incorrect.
