Where were we in these way too early polls last year? Even in the field?

Up until recently (the loss of Golden really..) we were a projected 5 seed.

According to ESPN we are still an early pre-season top 25, although we've been bumped down a few spots on that list as well.

To be more specific, loss of Golden (PG), Yemi, and Landry (PG) may have influenced UT's drop to the 10 spot. Other teams may have improved their pre-season position as well.

Yes, no and no. Losing Yemi and Landry didnt do anything to us dropping. Golden is what did it. Thompson is better than Landry on paper and Yemi and Ndiaye are a wash. So losing Golden and some other teams improving may have caused it but def not Landry and Yemi

You're ignoring the timeline between the two Lunardi polls and when players "left" the team. Prior to the first poll, UT had three PG's and Yemi. After the 1st poll came out, UT lost Golden, Landry, and Yemi and gained Ndiaye. Thompson is not a factor as he's been onboard since March 23rd .

My original post was pointing out that UT lost more than Golden to drop the seed from a 5 to a 10. Argue all you want relative to who dropped it more, but losing 2 of 3 PG's had to be a small factor also.

Get your panties out of a wad. Nobody's arguing with you. Like I said Golden was the main factor in us dropping. Why you are worried about TENNESSEE BASKETBALL. I'll never know.

I agree with ya. I doubt they dropped us much cause cause of Landry that's for sure. Dude did hardly anything last yr in hs to make anyone think he would be amazing in college. Golden is def the main factor. Yemi was ok but not that big of a loss IMO.

Exactly. We wouldn't have dropped if we still had Golden and lost Landry and Yemi. Dude just thinks he knows it all.
