Is the award supposed to recognize the best overall players or the best players at each position? If there are 7 players on the first team, I can only assume that means the top overall 7, regardless of position.

Maybe. But even that is questionable. Like why wasn't KJ Williams first team he had nearly identical per game averages as Brandon Miller. Only difference is LSU was a terrible team.

If James was fully healthy i think he would've been 1st team but no he has a chance to really improve his draft stock with these next 2 tournaments ...along with Plavsic ....

Grant Williams really embarrassed himself tonight. He had 2 free throws...just needed 1 to win it for Boston...told Donovan Mitchell "I'm gonna make em both" then MISSED both. Game went to ot and Boston lost. I don't recall him being a choker w Vols but man did he choke tonight.
