I guess I am an old timer because I remember a time when MTV played music videos. I turned on VH1 Classic this morning and during a short stretch they played 2 Bahaus songs, Camper van Beethoven, The Replacements, Cyndi Lauper (not girls wanna have fun), and a couple of others from that time period. As I get older I find myself listening to less and less new music and slipping back into the 80s and 90s stuff that I grew up with. I guess it is inevitable but i really hope I don't start calling music from that era 'golden oldies.'

Those shows are sometimes funny, but usually just a bunch of 3rd string celebrities commenting on things they know nothing about.

Well, that's why it's funny...because they are 3rd stringers.
Sometimes they have people like Stuart Scott on there...

Those shows do have some funny stuff. I usually see soem things on there from my childhood that I forgot about, like a certain toy or cartoon that was really popular.

Are ou trying to say that slap bracelts are not cool anymore? I was at a seminar a few weeks ago and some vendor gave me a foam can cozy that is flat but it has a couple of slap bracelets inside it so you can slap it on your can.
