Foxsports.com is reporting that the Raiders are going to offer Jerry Porter, Randy Moss, and the #1 overall pick in exchange for Vick and the #10 overall pick.

I can't believe that is true. I also can't believe anybody Rich McKay would make a deal with that much baggage coming back in return.

if this is true......if i'm the falcons........this is an easy decision.

They are just reporting the offer. I believe it because Moss and Porter are both unhappy in Oakland plus the Raiders need a QB. I don't think that McKay will take it but it wouldn't suprise me if it is offered

It's funny how popular Matt Schaub is. I'm sure the guy is pretty good, but he proves every day that the most popular guy on any roster is the backup QB.

just playing to the masses. being in Charlotte, we get to keep up on all the divisonal foes pretty regular......and it's no secret that there a lot of folks in the ATL organization that really do think Shaub is a better qb than Vick, but they can't sit Vick because he's the "face of the franchise".

this would give them an out. and i think they take it if it's serious.

Vick still sells tickets. I'm not convinced Arthur Blank is raising ticket prices once again, as he is, so that he can present the Matt Schaub Show to Atlanta sports fans....

i'm am convinced that Al Davis has lost enough of his mind to pull this trade. hell, i wouldn't put any thing past him at this point in his life.

yeah, you win, and they'll come regardless who's the qb...hell, if the panthers could sell out every home game prior to the 04, 05 and 06 seasons with Jake Dellhome as the qb...the falcons can sell with shaub.

just win....the rest will take care of itself.

Supposedly the Falcons are basically married to Vick for the next couple of years because of what trading him would do to their salary cap. Add to that what Randy Moss makes, and they couldn't afford to make that deal even if they wanted to. Besides, I can't seriously see Randy Moss playing for the Falcons as long as Blank owns them. He's already passed on both Moss and Owens once, and I'd be shocked if he just traded the Vick headache for the Moss one.

(Disclaimer: I do not pretend to understand the NFL salary cap myself; I merely have to believe & parrot what the Media Guys tell me about it.)

Cuz I'm not going to lie, he's the only reason I like Atlanta....I can't see myself wearing an Oakland jersey to school with "Vick" on the back of it......I feel like though, that if Vick and Petrino can get along well together they have the talent on that team to go far.....The leader(Vick) and the Coach just have to be on the same page
