Beat me to it, is anyone surprised by this??

I kind of thought he might go to someone that is lower tier that could afford to take a risk on him, I always thought he would end up at Oakland lol

I'm happy for him though, I wish him luck

Might be a good place for him. Those fans pound rivals; they will do a number on protesters.

i agree that i figured he would end up in oakland or dallas. oakland would have been a great fit since the peta protesters would not have to drive very far.

I wonder if McNabb will be pitching a fit. He seems to have an issue with just about everything.
If they use him right, the Eagles could be nasty this year.

If they put those two in the backfield at the same time, there's no telling what could happen....But like you said, they have to use him the right way

Well they are friends and he gave his blessing to the deal so that shouldn't be a problem. What I don't get is that it took a while before McNabb's accuracy was ok.

And now we sign a backup who's accuracy sucked more than McNabb's worst ?

I am baffled at this signing, the Eagles front office has always had a stern stand on players with any issues. As a lifelong Eagles fan, I am curious to see exactly how they will use him.

I think Vick will be used in a wild cat package or option package if ya'll run one or install one...I don't think he will throw much

....I guess. We don't run the ball enough to warrant play-action passes, but we do it anyway. :)

We used the wildcat with DeSean Jackson a few times last year. Could that be Vick's position? I'm watching the interview with coach Reid right now and he said he'd think of a spot for him once he got him into football shape.

I thought he'd end up in Seattle, they were among the first to show interest. I didn't expect it to be the Eagles. How much did they pay him?

wow, am surprised. Either he's a wildcat back or catching the ball and i should forget about seeing too much maclin this year

I'm happy for Vick. I mean, I'm glad he got punished and I hope he learned from it, but I am happy for him.

And just another example of how sensational ESPN has become, the first thing Ron Jaworski said after they announced his signing during last night's broadcast was how surely McNabb was going to be really upset. Those guys just love to hear their voices on that network.

Last night's game taught me 2 things:

1. Ron Jaworski is an idiot.
2. Jon Gruden probably knows more about football than anyone on this planet.
