We pulled out the come from behind win over Louisville thanks to the heroic efforts of Bunny Shaw. Bunny has clearly taken this team upon her shoulders and willed us to the 2-1 win on a slippery field. The cost of the win was heavy, it appears.

Whether the slippery field factored into the injuries is unclear but we lost defender MA Vignola and forward Anna Bialczak, both with what appeared to be knee injuries. Losing these two alone would be a very unfortunate event but when you add them to the recent loss of forward Erin Gilroy (also a knee injury) the effect will be very damaging going forward. All three of these young ladies were potent offensive factors and were instrumental in diverting attention off of Bunny Shaw, allowing her more room to operate and score.

They say bad things come in threes. It appears they have. Nothing to do now but to soldier on.

Our next match is with Arizona a three-nil victor over Denver. The match is scheduled for next Friday 11/16, at a time to be announced.

GO LADYVOLS!!!!

Agree with everything you mentioned. We have to hope for the best and expect the worse. Hated to lose all three if that is what is happening but that is life. If our subs will step up and I think they will with BS we are always in the match. Maybe the injuries last night and not as bad as they looked!

5:00 pm. No broadcast announcement as of yet. The weather should be partly cloudy with temps in the upper 40s to lower 50s. The field will likely be pretty wet due to the rain on Wed/Thur.

When we advance, we'll play on Sunday at 5:00 pm.

Nope...started to email Coach Pensky to see if he would tell me who would be expected to play the most minutes Friday or if the Whole team had been practicing this week, but I didn't want to put him in a bind given how sensitive injury information has become.
