I feel like I've asked this before on here, but couldn't find the thread. Can anyone suggest a good video editing software for Windows 10? I'm looking for an alternative to cut commercials out of Tennessee games and cut up the offense/defense videos that I post. I've used a mac for these tasks in the past, but I've transitioned mostly to Windows recently. The software I've been using on Windows caused some serious audio sync issues when editing last night's game, so I'm looking for a replacement. I'd like to avoid a monthly fee, if possible (Adobe Premier).

I appreciate any suggestions you guys may have.

Thanks.

Adobe Premiere is the absolute best. Maybe find an older version before the subscription thing went live?

I use Camtasia. It works well, and has a month long free trial period.

OpenShot Video Editor

OpenShot Webpage

I used it when I was on Linux, and it works well under Windows 10. It's also FREE!

Thanks for the suggestions.

Adobe premier took ages to import the audio for a 50GB football game. Not sure if there's a way around that, but the entire software may be a bit too steep of a learning curve for me.

One of our helpdesk guys used hitfilm to make a video, about 5 minutes long. He had never had any experience doing it and it turned out great.

So you transitioned from Mac to PC? Isn’t that supposed to be the other way around?

I scrapped Windows when Vista came out and went Mac. I recently bought a gaming PC and I like Windows 10 quite a bit. I've started using it as my primary machine for most tasks. However, after trying a few video programs out on PC I'll probably stick with Mac for video and photo editing. It's what I know and the learning curve on some of these other packages seems steep.
