Villanova Plays Rocky Top For All The Florida Fans

I was at the Villanova/Florida game yesterday, and being a huge UT fan I had to let everyone know! Villanova was winning with about 10 minutes left in the game, the band played Rocky Top for all of the Florida fans, not just once, but twice! All the Florida fans booed!

I think it is hilarious, how everytime an SEC team is losing to a non-conference team, the non-conference team plays Rocky Top to piss them off! I realize it is because they were in Nashville, but It felt good to be there to sing aloud!

Yes, they did. It was hilarious, all the Florida fans getting ticked off. I clapped and sang, myself. I was booed by the Gators sitting near me.

Either way, that is great. I don't think anything is going to beat Minnesota playing it after beating Bama in their bowl game.

I remember in 1998, FSU's band played it after they beat UF. That was classic. Gators were so pissed.

Good old Rocky Top....Rocky Top Tennessee....Rocky Top Tennessee....I agree they shouldn't have played it....but I think the only reason they did is because they were in Tennessee.....once again Florida SUCKS!!!!!

hey it is our song but I like the fact that other schools are using it to piss off bammers and gators, I think its great! ROCK ON ROCKY TOP!!!!!!
