I love Vince and the Titans, but they took a major step back this offseason and they have a lof of questions entering this season. But they have a franchise saving player, now they need to surround him with the tools to get the job done.

here's the deal.....if the Titans played in the NFC, they'd be set. but they play in the AFC, and the AFC south to boot. they are the 2nd best team in their division, at best......and JAX may have something to say about that.

they are on the rise, but both IND and JAX have been better than they are right now.

You're delusional. The Titans are definitely NOT the second best team in the AFC South, and they would definitely NOT be set if they were in the NFC. As bad as the NFC is, there are still a lot of teams that would whip up on the Titans.

Also, Vince Young is way overrated. The player that truly lead the Titans turnaround last year is now suiting up for the Broncos.

really? it's completely delusional to think that a team with a rookie qb that only started 2/3 of last season, and got them to .500 record isn't on the up swing? it's delusional to think that they are at best the 2nd best team in the division when JAX has a great D, but no O? and Houston plays in that division too?

and the NFC, have you watched the NFL the past few years? the NFC is WIDE OPEN year in and year out. who would whip up on the Titans in the NFC? Carolina? Seattle? Philly? Dallas? Washington? NYG? Chicago? give me a break.

what the hell was i thinking? if you want to disagree, disagree, but delusional is far from that analysis.

i don't even like the Titans.

I wouldn't say that. Jacksonville was 3rd in the NFL in rushing last year and Top 10 in total offense. If they find a little consistency at QB, they can be a great team.

Jacksonville should give Quin Gray a shot. I knows he third string but he's better than Garrard or Leftwich.

I actually thought they'd draft Brady Quinn when they got the chance.
Bingo. Just about the only thing Jacksonville is missing is an adequate QB. I can't imagine Del Rio will last much longer unless the QB situation is addressed and soon.

Titans aren't there yet, but they are on the rise.

(like anyone needed to hear that)

They are a young team in general, so I will give them time. I trust Fisher.

They're on the rise. Hell, they could hardly be on their way down. Where did they pick Vince Young again? #2 Overall?

#3. They certainly were on the rise, but they pretty much made every incorrect decision this offseason. I think they'll be pretty terrible next year.

Agreed. I see them banking another top 8 pick in next year's draft.

I agree Kptvol, after last season I would have expected no less than a 10 win season, but after the offseason I'm expecting 5 wins at best.
