Prior to Vinson's committment we were ranked 27th in Rival's rankings.

With the addition of Vinson to their numbers we should bump into the top 25.

With another 8 or so ships to award, we'll be very close to the top 10 when all is said and done. Most of the teams in the top 10 already are near their limits. We will close strong late and have a great class.

The naybammers will mock this but the proof will be in the final count.

yeah we have some huge commitments coming.... thats all I am going to say. vols will be in the top 15 maybe top 10..

Yeah I have noticed more often than not that Volquest will announce a player and I.T will not, I mean the last time I checked the still havent called Chase Nelson the DE from Oklahoma. I know Jimmy Hyams is involved with that website and that he has talked about these recruits long before I.T will finally acknowledge them.

The Vols have picked up a DE from Coffeyville, Kansas...Walter Fisher I think his name is....6'2''/275...hes a known name in recruiting in this area.

There is no comparison in the quality of service and information Tennessee fans can get between Rivals(Volquest.com) and Scout(InsideTennessee.com). Brent Hubbs and Rob Lewis of Volquest are hands down the best in the buisness in regards to covering UT recruiting.They have and provide(on a daily basis) much more "inside" infomation, both in quantity and quality. I would pay three times the money I do at Volquest before I went over to InsideTennesse. I have been members of both.

Kriehbel (sp?) just commited to Kansas State and he said one of the reasons is because UTK called him and said they were full at OL? Hmmm...curious. Wonder if this means UTK has a silent commitment that they are keeping under raps. Johnson perhaps? We can hope.

I think we pretty much got Ramone locked up Rickbol.... Only time will tell but he has basically commited to us..

He's good on paper.

Lets hope he eats, breathes and sleeps Tennessee football and will fight through pain and against all odds for the Big Orange and stand beside his fellow players like he would his brothers. Those are the kind of guys we need right now no matter what rival, scout, blah blah ranks us.

Not sure if there is anything to his comment about us being full actaully means anything or not. He just recently tore his ACl and has had some trouble with it after surgery, so us calling him and telling him we're full could simply be a nice way of saying not that you are injured, we're not really interested in recruiting you anymore.

I'd say we have Jarrod Shaw locked up for sure if we decide to take him.(And I think we will) I would bet that Johnson has probably indicated to the staff that he will likely choose UT. But, he is visiting the in-state school(Illinois) this weekend. We should know on here by very early next week. Logan-El will announce Tuesday. We're in this one as well, but most would consider it an upset if he chooses Tennessee oer Maryland or Penn State.
