Stadium is already booked for Thursday night, I dont remember what the poster said for, but I thought the same about Thursday

Game will be Saturday the 2nd - too much money involved by the Nashville folks for it not to be on Saturday.
Other than West VA vs Penn St, no other 'marquee' match ups are on Saturday that week, so we should be in Prime Time - the Nashville money people will make sure of that as it will be the highlight of Labor Day Weekend in Nash-Vegas.
Should be an outstanding production with high ratings and high visibility - will work out well for our team.

FWIW - LSU / Fla St matchup on Sunday will likely be the ratings king that week, unless they do something dumb and play at noon.

I missed that North Carolina vs. South Carolina matchup.
So yeah, I can see WVU / Penn St being in the 3:30 time slot as CBS' introduction to the B1G and the 'renewal' of that historic rivalry between the schools.
That puts either UT / UVA or NC / SC on ABC and the other on ESPN
I would think...both in prime time.

I don't think they will stick a P5 OOC game at noon. Especially one involving the Vols. We bring eyeballs when we suck, imagine the number will bring now.

Schedule for the rest of the weekend is ready set so I don't see them changing the day.

This will be a 3:30 or possibly 6/7 pm start. I'm sure the Nash organizers are pushing for later start so more East TN based UT fans will stay in the city for the night instead of driving home.

West Virginia/Penn State is at 7:30et on NBC

My guess is either ESPN or ESPN2 at 7pm eastern, it could be 6pm if ESPN has the Boise State at Washington game. Though it would not surprise me if they put the Vols on SECN and put MTSU at Alabama on ESPN2 at 7
