Virginia was very undisciplined. It cost them the chance to at least go to overtime. They overcame the stupid head butt by the OLine. Made a 18 yard 2 point conversion. Then the QB stands there and poses on the TD without his helmet drawing 15 yard penalty on the kickoff, which cost them field position. Then apparently the fg block team didn’t know the rules which allowed NC St to move 15 yards closer for the winning fg. All of this happened in the last minute. Amazing.

It’s easy to focus on how bad UVA is and what boneheaded plays they made, however they had zero business being in that game . This is the kind of stuff State always does and they got away with it this time. People have been talking about our coaching staff this week, Dave Doreen was definitely on the list ahead of Heupel. Let that sink in. He’s the ACC’s Mark Stoops.

You can never jump over the players on a field goal attempt, the same way you can’t try to hit/barrel through the long snapper.

Last night, UVA reminded me of Tennessee during the Dooley years: Close enough to have a shot to pull the upset, but inept enough for it not to happen. The flashbacks were not fun.
